All U-hauls are registered as commercial grade vehicles. Therefore, your personal insurance and credit card insurance likely does not cover it. Everyone has different coverage, check with your provider before you come in for your rental. We recommend the Collision Damage Waiver through U-Haul for a nominal fee.

Only certain trucks are eligible to go one way. One way rentals are subject to availability. When making a reservation you have the option to select your preferred pickup location; however, U-Haul will NOT confirm your actual pick up location until 24 hours before your rental date. It is not a guarantee that if you request to pick up from Sunnyside Storage that you will be picking it up from us. U-Haul will try their best to accommodate your request, but pick up locations will be assigned based on truck availability.

All tenants are assigned a gate code to give them access to the buildings. Access is limited to the hours when our front gates are open. Our fully fenced yard is well lit with motion detecting lights, and is equipped with security cameras and a perimeter alarm system.

Yes, we require 10 days of notice prior to you vacating your unit. We will prorate your refund to your move out date.

Automatic billing can be set up on a credit card (Visa or MasterCard), auto withdrawal directly from your bank account, you can make a payment online via our website or post dated cheques. In office we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit and cash.

Yes, we have secure dry storage for vehicles inside our roll-up units. Maximum 24’ length. Doors are either 7’ or 8’ high on some units. Sorry, we do not provide outside storage or long term parking.

Currently we do not offer contents insurance for our tenants. If you want to insure the contents of your unit we recommend doing that through your own personal home insurance.

We will accept returns of any unused boxes or merchandise within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt from our office.
